Polo Country

Polo Country was a short-lived line developed by Ralph Lauren together with vintage collector and collaborator Doug Bihlmaier. Introduced in the late 1980s, the label focused on garments inspired by American workwear, Western clothing and early outdoor wear.

The collection drew heavily from vintage pieces, often reproducing historical fabrics, patterns and construction details. Although the line existed only briefly, it became an important precursor to RRL, which would later expand on the same approach to vintage-inspired American clothing.
